About this blog. 

This blog is an exploratory work in progress. It is a means to lay down some reflections that arise through engagements with many different things and to try and make some links between them. In particular, I am interested in thinking through how to understand better the connections between the things that draw me to them. Think of this, if you will, as my own mental sketch pad, or perhaps a journal, one that is actually meant to allow me to think through some things in a space that requires me to present the ideas differently, to sketch some connections that might not become apparent to me in the other modes of thinking to which I am  more habituated, in a space where others may comment and add their own thoughts. Or not. Because ultimately I am writing to myself, even when someone else may be reading, for this is what happens to subjectivity in communication.
